1.  Students are to select one innovative and emerging technology from the table on this page.

2. Research the impact the selected technology has had on society and the environment.

3. Present a 1 minute video presentation to classmates’ and your teacher. A transcript and video file will be submitted to your teacher via Moodle on the due date.

Ensuring you:

• Name the innovation,

• Identify the origin of the technology, present day uses and future possibilities.

• Provide clear and concise details about your selected innovation or emerging technology and identify the impact of it on society and the environment.

• Multimedia can be added to explain concepts. 

    Criteria for Assessing Learning

     Students will be assessed on their ability to:

•   Research and find relevant information relating to a selected innovation or emerging technology.

•   Present a clear educational presentation, which provides relevant details about the selected innovation or emerging technology and clearly identifies its impact on society and the environment.
